The annual fundraising golf tournament was once again held at Gates Four Golf and Country Club.

Greg Williamson, Chapter President, opened the event by leading the golfers in reciting the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. The Pledge was followed by the invocation by Chapter Chaplain Tim Atkinson.

President Williamson welcomed all 100 tournament participants, especially the 54 active-duty soldiers who were treated by chapter members to play in the tournament, thanking them for their service and sacrifices.

He further thanked all the tournament sponsors, singling out Anfinsen Plastic Molding, Inc. as the prime sponsor. He also thanked Healy Wholesale and Rogers & Breece, Inc. as the major material sponsors.

He concluded his remarks by thanking the Golf Tournament Committee and all the tournament volunteers, especially the Meinhardt family, for their hard work that made the event possible and successful.

Players teed off in beautiful fall weather and in great spirits. The event was capped off with presentation of awards and prizes.
