After calling the meeting to order and leading the assembly in reciting the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag, President Underwood introduced new chapter members James Coughlin and Erin Coughlin.

The main event on the agenda was the official installation of the newly elected Cape Fear Chapter leadership team for the 2-year term beginning January 2025.

MOAA Board of Directors member and keynote speaker, Retired US Air Force Lt. Col. Karon Uzzell-Baggett, administered the oath of office to: COL (Ret) Gregory K. Williamson, President; MAJ (Ret) George Bond, 1st Vice President; COL (Ret) William Bell, 2nd Vice President; CPT (Ret) David S. Vroom, Treasurer; and COL (Ret) Steven D. Cage, Secretary.

Chaplain Greg Williamson delivered the invocation and benediction.
