There is no better way to celebrate our nation’s 250th anniversary of its independence than to get together for a picnic on Friday, 26 June 2026 at Pavilion E, Smith Lake Recreation Area, Fort Bragg starting at 11:30 AM. All chapter members, their families and friends are invited. While there is seating within the pavilion, it is recommended that members bring their own folding chairs which are more comfortable and portable.

The cost is $15 per person (no charge for children under 12) and includes a picnic lunch consisting of pulled chicken or pulled pork, with all the fixings, e.g., beans, coleslaw, chips, etc. Drinks include soft drinks, lemonade and water. Members are welcome to bring a dessert to share.
