Welcome to the official award-winning web site of the Cape Fear Chapter (CFC) of the Military Officers Association of America (MOAA). It is user-friendly and regardless of your computer skills easy to navigate. I encourage you to explore the web site to the fullest. You may also want to visit us on Facebook or Twitter by clicking on the respective logo on header above.

The site will be continuously updated so make it a routine to check it regularly. We suggest the News & Events, Calendar, and Reaching Out pages.

The Cape Fear Chapter, as is MOAA, is a non-partisan organization. As a chartered affiliate of MOAA since 1961 the Cape Fear Chapter is oldest in the state of North Carolina. Based in the Fayetteville-Fort Bragg-Spring Lake area, our current membership includes about 170 officers representing most of the uniformed services and all grades from warrant officer to flag rank. Additionally, our rolls include 25 surviving spouses.

Our mission is to promote the policies and objectives of the Military Officers Association of America (MOAA); foster fraternal relations among retired, active and former officers of the uniformed services and their reserve components; protect the rights and interests of active duty, retired, veterans and reserve component personnel of the uniformed services and their dependents and survivors; provide useful services for members and their dependents and survivors; fund and administer a college ROTC scholarship program, support all junior and senior ROTC programs within our catchment area, and serve the local military community through support of charitable and other service programs.

The Cape Fear Chapter's area of interest and responsibility (catchment area) includes the counties of Bladen, Cumberland, Harnett, Hoke, Robeson and Sampson, North Carolina.
